About the green fund
The epf was established in 1994 under the environment and conservation fund ordinance (cap. 450).On June 14, 2013, the government was approved by the finance committee of the legislative council to inject 5 billion yuan into the environmental protection fund as seed fund.As to protect the environment and conservation of a long-term, environmental protection fund since its inception, has funded more than 4290 related to environmental protection and nature conservation education, research, and other projects and activities.
